An iconic member of Balboa Park, the San Diego Lawn Bowling Club was established in 1932 and has produced numerous national and international lawn bowling singles, pairs and rinks (teams of four) champions. The club belongs to the Southwest Division of Bowls USA Bowls USA . Sporting the only natural grass rinks in the City, we are located near the corner of Balboa and Prado Drive. (map)
Club membership is open to anyone with an interest in the game. Your level of club involvement is flexible. It can range from playing an occasional club social game, to participating in club tournaments, and competing in high-level regional and national competitions. There is no required time commitment. You decide what fits into your schedule.
